Hi All,

I've been taking Nal for 2 months now and it's been amazing, I'm certainly not there yet but my decision making processes are just simply, totally different. I can't claim to having had a AF day yet but I am now often the designated driver (so drink when back home) when previously I simply would not have offered or, on the weekend, not considered even going out as drinking would have happened around lunchtime. Now I offer trips to the pub/restaurant so that's progress I guess! However I am concerned as I have noticed that I get full really quickly recently, it seems to happen more when I'm out but that might just be because I'm more self conscious about leaving food on the plate - seems rude. I just can't finish my food at all though.

I read something about us having microscopic amounts of an extremely powerful morphine substance in our saliva and that it increases when we eat - if we're not getting that into our system could that be it?

I also saw UK Blonde's posts about Selincro on this topic, but it seems to be just on that and not Nal, but am I wrong about this?

I'm hoping its the Nal as Google searches on this type of thing always end up with cancer (don't they all, sigh) so I've got concerned.

Anyone else experienced this?

I haven't experienced this myself, but I've heard it from a few people, although more from people taking Selincro/Nalmefene than Naltrexone

I really wouldn't worry about leaving food on your plate - I dare say a fair few people would be quite jealous of your ability to do this!
