In the US (because that's where I live) a Big Bottle of White Zin is 10% AL and 1.5l, the small one is 750ml. You can also buy them in a "cute" 4 pack single bottles to go.

Does one Big Bottle equal 2 normal size bottles and 4 pack equals 1 normal size bottle, and if so since it's 10% what is the unit count.

I'm trying to figure this out, because I will save the little bottles I have so I can keep track of my units a little better and attempt to mod a little better instead of steam rolling through 3 big bottles in 24 hours.

I've check on my NAL it should be early next week.

Dr. Eskapa's book counts a 750ml (small) bottle of wine at 6.5 units. I count it as 5, b/c I get 5 average glasses from a bottle, and it's easier for me to count that way. The big bottles would then count either as 13 units by Dr. Eskapa's method, or 10, using my personal method.

How you count the units isn't really all that important, since you're only comparing yourself to yourself. You want to see the change in YOUR drinking habits. So decide on a consistent measure that works for you, and begin a chart.

It's that simple!
