For spouses who are supporting (or doubting) the TSM/Alcoholic/Bal/etc partners. I called him on the phone and he said that when he logs on and reads our successes, failures, questions or what-ever, he can't respond. But AA has Al-non why can't TSM have TSN-anon?

I'm lucky - he agreed and stuck by me on this method because after a lot of money, pain and suffering he was willing to try one more thing....

I know they have the forum "for the spouses" but no-one ever post. Do TSM partners know that they can go somewhere to vent, can they be like us where no-one knows your name or which TSM is yours? Can we point them somewhere that they can read the pros and cons? Are they afraid they will know who we are. Don't we tell them we are taking it or is this forum a closed meeting?

I think they know which one is us, I think they log on if they really care and try to figure it out, but where is there outlet? How do they tell the world it worked or didn't?

How do convince our partners, kids, family and friends this might work. I am not opposed to another website/forum site for them. I just need to know if I need to set one up.

I'm open - I just coming off an emotional issue and experiance on this board, so feel free to smack me in the posting head and tell me no.

Em - I think this sounds like a great idea, but since I have no partner, it doesn't mean much to me. But maybe something can come of this -

Maybe if he just starts posting on the existing SO thread, others will follow. Or he can do what has become the norm here and just start a thread wherever, any time a random thought pops into his head. When I was still moderating we discussed reorganizing the board but I felt it would be a wasted effort since folks don't seem to have any rhyme or reason where they post. It's that way with every board I've seen,

When I come on, I always just hit "view active topics" and any thread with a yellow page icon is one with a post I have not yet read. I suspect that is how most people do it. If I am looking for a specific topic, I go to the board index or use the "Search" button. The latter is usually more efficient.
