I think it might be a good idea to collect information about the people on the cured list with regard to where they got their naltrexone

For those who buy over t'internet, it would provide some sort of reassurance about the quality of the medication they are getting.

Any thoughts?

Do you think there may be a quality problem with mail-order vs. pharmacy-provided Naltrexone?

I wouldn't want to overstate the case Bob - but there is obviously (more of) a risk in buying medication over the internet rather than over the counter

Most people aren't in a position to take their medication and have it tested privately, so success stories from anyone posting here would act as some sort of quality control endorsement (caveat emptor etc)

I'd see it more as an extra benefit we can get from the forum, rather than something that is currently missing.

We did this about a year ago. It was one of the threads we deleted when we banned RR, because the thread sorta got hijacked and mired in off-topic crap. We've also had discussion in other threads about this. I think it would be a good idea to do it again, to reassure folks that inferior quality from the online pharmacies used by members here is not a problem. I did some extensive research on the manufacturers used by AllDayChemist and also River and I'll dig this up when I have time.

I'll go ahead and start: I've taken Rx Revia, Nodict from River, and Naltima from AllDayChemist. I've noticed no difference in quality or potency from among these. I should add that the ADC pills look just like the Revia, except that the ADC pills are not scored.

I've used River and AllDayChemist. I've definitely made progress, but not on the cured list yet.

I've used River from Canada and had no problems. Of course we had to have the stuff delivered to a US address because Customs Canada won't let it in, but the actual product is great.

As well hubby and I order ALL our drugs from River and have even noticed an improvement in the quality - psychosomatic? Who knows. But no probbies with River.

I get mine by prescription from a Walgreen's pharmacy in Florida.

I think I'll take a picture of one and post it here, once I get my lazy butt out of the recliner to find the camera... and the Naltrexone... take the picture... transfer the picture to photobucket.com... and copy the link here.

Phew, that sounds like too much work. I think I'll have supper first.
