I went through a couple of plateaus in the 6 months it took me to cut my intake by over 95%, Harmonicaman. This is generally the point where you have to wait it out or try active reduction techniques (like changing your start time, your stop time, or the rate of drinking). I found it useful to start leaving my drink in another room so I couldn't automatically chain-sip. It gave me a bit more time to consider if I wanted that next sip or if I wanted to do something else for 15 minutes and then have a sip. Eventually those pauses grew to an hour and more.
It can't hurt to try boosting the dose a bit, but it's mainly an issue of the drinking having (over the many years) put actual gray matter in the addicted part of your brain, neurons and synapses that urge you to drink. TSM reverses that by blocking the endorphins from drinking, but it takes time for those neurons and synapses to normalize to the point where the addicted part of your brain get reset to a pre-addiction state and becomes indifferent to alcohol. So a good bit of TSM is simply about persistence and patience. You'll see reports from people that take 3 or 4 months till they get to "Pharmacological Extinction" of their cravings, but most take 6-12 months (from the self-reports that I've read).
