Please do, Mac!

Here's a study that would seem to affirm:

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/10023615

I think the fact that you only use cocaine after alcohol is going to help and that you're pointed in the right direction. Even if you feel an effect from the cocaine (while you have Nal in your system) the question is will the lizard brain (where many addictions take root) remember that you felt good when you used the cocaine? One of the benefits of drinking on Nal is that even though you might feel better and you do in fact get drunk if you drink too much, the part of your brain that compels you to drink doesn't remember that you had a good time and that you got a "reward" from drinking. Since that memory isn't reinforced, the neurons that support that memory begin to fire less and they grow fewer in and farther apart. That's the premise of neuroplasticity and it's how TSM works.

Hey Joe,
Thanks for the link.
Just a quick update.
The last week I decided to try to reduce the cocain and stick with NAL+Al
So far so good.
It's been 6 days without it.
Thanks all and will update you.

Hi All
Quick update
I didn't manage to completely quit C but I managed to reduce both my AL and C considerably (I'm now using aprox 1/3 of what I did before).
And I'm only 3 month in TSM.
So it seems to be working very good.
I'll create a new thread as soon as I get solid results (extintion) hoping that this could help others in similar situation.
Thanks again and sorry to hijack the post
Mac
Ps: The numbers didn't drop until 2 or 3 weeks ago (around 10 weeks after starting tsm)
And I must say, good willing, mindfulness and forced AF/CF days is helping pretty much.
