Even if you feel an effect from the cocaine (while you have Nal in your system) the question is will the lizard brain (where many addictions take root)
remember that you felt good when you used the cocaine? One of the benefits of drinking on Nal is that even though you might feel better and you do in fact get drunk if you drink too much, the part of your brain that
compels you to drink doesn't
remember that you had a good time and that you got a "reward" from drinking. Since that memory isn't reinforced, the neurons that support that memory begin to fire less and they grow fewer in and farther apart. That's the premise of neuroplasticity and it's how TSM works.
