Hi all... I'm going to beginning treatment next week when my med shipment arrives.

I've read that the average time to cure is about 4-9 months for most people. I'm wondering if this same timeframe applies to binge drinkers. I already have about 5 AF days per week, but binge very hard to the point of blackout on the other 2 days. I average about 35 units per week just from those 2 days of binging. Been doing this for 15 years.

The scientist in me makes me think the time to cure would depend more on the amount of drinking sessions one has while taking nal rather than calendar time. Are there any other binge drinkers on the forum that could share their stories of times to cure?

Indeed it's been suggested that bingers drink at least 3 times a week for the first couple of weeks, but then return to the normal pattern. Craving is an important part of the equation, that's when you want to answer the craving with the Nal and the One Hour Rule.
