Thanks, Maggie! I just hate to see anyone get stuck with a choice of abstinence or nothing when there's a far, far better solution. Getting TSM going in Africa would be fantastic and the people really deserve a better solution than these charlatans that are shooting them up with a depot injection of Nal, then telling them to abstain when that wears off. We all know that that's a poor solution in the long run.

hallo everyone who tried to help you. just here to say a miracle has happened for me, that the doctor who wrote the book, Dr Roy Eskala, is currently in South Africa. I got, through all your links and advice together with the moderationmovement group's help through to cthreefoundation and they got me in contact with the doctor, so it IS available in South Africa! I asked my friend to prescribe for me (it was quite embarrassing!) but now I got my pills on their way. in the mean time I'm going to educate myself with the book you all recommend and then my journey can start, well actually it already started. just want to say thank you for everyone's kind words and practical advice.

Sue -

That's fantastic!!! What great news! Please come back often and let us know how you're doing.

When I saw that PDF from SAAMS I figured somebody was trying to pull the wool over your eyes. In fact, it was the opposite of what you were being told! Naltima is available, it's the depot injection/implant that's not registered! I wonder what a malpractice lawyer would have to say about that...

All that aside, kudos to you on your perseverance and your good fortune in connecting with Dr. Eskapa! We'll be keen to hear how you're getting along with TSM, so come back as often as time will allow!
