Hello all,

Easter was good although I did manage a terrible hangover post my brothers 50th. And I didn't think I drank that much acutally. So I was slipping into a comortable cycle of I can drink when I like so long as I take NAL. Ie 6 weeks worth. So my hubby and I when he is on call don't drink (even pre NAL a ew times) and we stuck to that and have had a really light week alcohol wise. So that feels good. Hope your all travelling well. I even had some beers today at the pub but didn't eel the need to continue drinking at super speed of light when I came home which was the Nal not me!

Great progress, cash. So far I've only had one AF day, but your post to Marb is making me think I'll do one deliberately this coming Monday or Tuesday. I'll just be extra nice to myself, maybe cut my anxiety with some Kava Kava. My problem is that most days there comes a time - and it can be anytime between noon and 6 p.m. - when I just get to shaking with cravings for AL. Since my consumption is decreasing overall, my hope is that this will naturally diminish as my drinking levels get lower, and it won't be so hard to forego that first drink.

Anyway, thanks for the post - it was encouraging.

Hope Marb is still talking to me - she has been very quiet.
your doing great guns Going4 More, and I agree. I think your need will decrease and hence the shakes will stop. that must make it hard - I have never experienced that myself. So maybe I shouldn't be encouraging people to do that!
I feel my tolerance is way down now. I know I can now drink 3 small glasses of wine with no hangover now - any more and I can feel the tiredless the next day. I used to down a bottle no worries! the key I think it to stay relaxed about it too and not try to hard to progress. Little by littel the numbers will decrease. I can sense a change in my craving also. I am not gagging to open a beer straight in the door from work. One AF is excellent for you. Keep up the good work.
