 Post subject: Insurance and the TSM drugs...

Can anyone tell me if their insurance pays for the Nal drug? I don't have medical insurance at this very moment. I will very shortly, but I am in between jobs, and have to sort through COBRA and what that all is. So it could be a month before I get insurance.

If COBRA will pay for the drug, then I will anxiously wait until I get all that sorted out. But if insurances don't cover this kind of drug regularly, then I might just go ahead and make an appointment with my doctor.

Also, does high blood pressure matter at all on this drug?

My doctor prescribed the drug and I pay the co-pay. I would think insurance covers most prescriptions.

Not sure about high blood pressure.. don't recall reading about that in the drug insert.

Hi pisces, our insurance pays for our meds and my husband has high blood pressure and takes meds for it and he is on NAL, but always check with your doc.

Hi, You can ask your pharmacist about drug interactions, they are educated and are very helpful.

My insurance covers it. I just pay the co-pay ($15 I think).
