Are you trying to not smoke or is it just pointless to?

Ok, I'm a little slow here with the thread, do you use the Chantix as you do with the Nal? Do you keep smoking while taking it and the extinction comes in that you don't crave it anymore? I tried a couple of years ago and when they said stop smoking in the second week i thought they were nuts I couldn't do that. So i have another month of it sitting in my cabinet waiting for me to try it again but how should I use it?

Well Corkit, that's the theory. We discovered that Chantix may be similar in the way that it behaves with regard to nicotine receptors as naltrexone is to endorphin receptors.

AJ is our guinea pig, he's using Chantix and smoking in accord with the concept of pharmacological extinction. The experiment seems to be turning out quite well. I'm going to try it but not until I'm done with TSM.

thanks Loop that might be a good idea in waiting. I think when I'm further down this road I just might try it again myself seeing it definitely didn't work the way they prescribed it. Great, just one more thing to look forward to.
