So, an hour or so ago, I went to uncork a bottle of white wine. Couldn't get last night's cork out of the dang corkscrew and had to wrestle with it for a while. Finally got it, then plunged the corkscrew into my new bottle and pulled the handle up. Oops, the corkscrew was broken, forcing the cork into the neck of the bottle. No problem, I think, and use a kitchen tool to push it in all the way. It already was in, and wine splattered all over the counter, the cupboards and the floor. Cleaned that up and poured myself a large goblet. Picked it up, dropped it, and covered my shorts, shirt and kitchen floor with wine.

Of course, I didn't let it stop me, even though 3/4 of the bottle was gone.....cheers.
