gracieb Some people "feel" it working, others don't. The point with Naltrexone, though, is that the real power is what it does subconsciously. So, the "extinction" of the cravings and desire to drink happen behind the scenes in your brain. It's definitely a bonus when Naltrexone immediately changes your experience of alcohol -- these people might be called "super-responders" -- but it's not necessary to get to your ultimate goal.
Regarding dosage, it's probably the #1 debate / question on this site. I think it's been determined that one 50mg pill should cover you all day long, as it has a long half life (I can "feel" Naltrexone in me for almost two days, personally). Other people find success giving themselves a "booster" of 25mg or so after a few hours (e.g. after 4 hours of drinking).
