When this question has been asked before, there has always been a mixed response. Some people say you don't need to as it stays in your system for up to 24 hours, but others have talked about Naltrexone's half life and not being covered after 5 to 6 hours. Because of this, I have always erred on the side of caution and taken another tab 5 hours after the first if I'm going to carry on drinking. It was a pain at first as I would be having a glass of wine at lunchtime and would need another Nal in the evening, but now that the lunchtime vino has gone it's less of an issue. Ruth.
