Hey all,
I'm very happy I have found this group, as it's just what i've been looking for. I'm 31, been drinking heavily off/on for 10 years, and really want to put an end to it. AA never worked for me, and Antabuse would give me 2-6 months stretches of sobriety, which always turned into major drinking binges that I know will eventually turn deadly.

Today marks one week on the pill, and I definitely feel it working a small bit, nothing major. Maybe it's just placebo, but I'm committed to trying this. Hell, all it is is a pill an hour before drinking. I can and WILL do that. Your stories inspire me, and hopefully I can become a help on the board to others as well.
