Sorry to learn about the loss of your son. I can't even imagine how painful that has to be.
A few things that might help break the habit of drinking to go to sleep:
- Change the routine that leads up to your sleep time so you are not repeating the same steps that lead to that first drink. - Perhaps take a sleeping aid (and not drink) to help you fall asleep. - Some excercise before sleep time might boost your endorphins so you feel less like drinking.
