Not hip on "units" but usually consume 6 shooters of 100 proof alcohol within a 4-6 hour period. Tonight was my first 25 mg dose. Instead of 4-6 hours, I consumed 4 within 1 hour, and instead of being worthless per usual, and just standing on my porch and smoking and stumbling around, even with little impairment....I was motivated to finish assembling my elliptical which I have been working on for weeks....freakin' crazy...I don't feel as impaired as I usually would at this point and I still feel like my thoughts are "sober". Never experienced this...I am even legibly typing on my phone, it's a phenomena.Here's to hoping I feel like ass tomorrow because tonight Nal + alcohol =LOVE.

Hey Chela, sounds like a great start and similiar to my own. I'm doing my 2nd Nal session at the moment, and here I am, relaxed and reading the forums, feeling rational and focussed. Usually i'd now be blasting some music and on my phone / going out / IM'ing / looking for someone to talk to.

How you finding the day after?

I feel great thanks! No side effects yet and I didn't feel at all hung over, just a little tired this morning, but no more than usual.

Chela, I think in "The Cure for Alcoholism," the rats drank a lot more on the second day, too. So, it's normal for some people.

Barry- Well that makes sense, my Chinese zodiac sign is a rat lol...

The rats almost all quit drinking after five sessions of Nal+Alcohol = Cure.
