Greetings all,

I am new here, and just wanted to take the time to introduce myself.

I have bought and read Dr Eskapa's book, and I ordered my meds from River last Monday.

I have been drinking increasingly heavily over the past 10+ years, and it is starting to cause me problems, and I know that I need to stop. I've tried everything, but nothing has worked for me. For the first time, I feel hope with TSM.

I'm excited and looking forward to working this program, and maybe I can make a few friends along the way...

4/10 stopped NAL & started BAC thru River
6/10 up to 120 mgs BAC w/ MAJOR SEs
7/10 titrating off BAC
8/10 starting Topamax w/ Dr.

Welcome cessation - glad you are gearing up to start!

Start tracking your drinking now if you can...it will give you something to do while waiting for the meds and it's good to look back on once you start seeing progress.

Wow, my Nal arrived today! That was even faster than I expected. I am excited to get started.
I am going to start at 25 mg.

How did everyone split a pill in half?

I bought a pill cutter from Walgreen's pharmacy. There are several designs out there. Get the most expensive one, because "you get what you pay for".
