Avatar Application: NEED HELP

Hi, I just can not seem to get an avatar to display. I am trying to select one from my iphoto.
There is a box that says Avatars file size must be between 0 and 6 Kib

What should I put in that box? Or what am I doing wrong? I see some folks have a pic and some don't. I think we would have more avatars (which makes reading and identities clearer) if we solved this problem.

So if someone has the time to explain I would appreciate it. Thanks so much !

I personally used my small facebook one (right click and saved picture as a jpeg). If you have an avatar too large try reducing the size in Microsoft Paint (pbrush) and make sure it's saved in jpeg format as this has compression.

I just browsed to a picture. It is small. Maybe yours is too beg. I think you can have up to 80 or 90 KB.

I know what I can do, I take Mac classes (one to one) I will get my teacher to help me! Thanks can not seem to figure it out, but since I saw lots of other people do not have avatars I figured I was (am) not the only one that's stumped. On MWO it was easy to post it. No complaints, just miss the avatars, they are helpful to find a persons writings, and they are fun too. Thanks guys!
If anyone else has some idea, let me know.
What I am trying to do is import a photo from my iphoto. Oh well for now.

LOL, that's nice! I don't have much of a fan club round here...

I don't know about the logging out thing- have you tried checking the 'Log me on automatically each visit' option when you log in? That may cure it, otherwise it could be something in you browser options- it doesnt happen to me, so I can't really help
