I have been on 75 but stopped because I didn't think that much was working. I do think it is both craving and habit. I usually start about 7 and on some days I start at 8. I do ok if I am out until 11. However, I do take a drink before I go to bed even at that late time. I know it is the first drink that takes me to the others. Waiting to hear my latest bloodwork, I do have a liver check every time I go. I really need to wrap my head around this problem.

Meggie, if your tests come out ok, consider going to 100mg, as even Claudia has suggested this to some. As I mentioned before, my own TSM doc has found some need this level to produce results.

On those late nights when you haven't had a drink yet, consider a strong cup of chamomile tea. Some have great luck with it, others not so, but it's worth a shot. Check with your pharmacist to make sure it's not going to be a problem with your meds though, just to be on the safe side.

So she took 100 ml and it finally worked for her. I will be on almost a year. It was funny I got a message today from someone from the TSM site.

Meggie - Even if TSM ends up not working for you, there are other meds. The one way or the other virtually everyone can get out from under the thumb of alcohol. That includes you.

I did us e topamax and it worked for a year, then cmapral which didn't work. I know I just have to buckle up and knuckle down .

Meggie, if you try walking away from it after the first couple of drinks, what happens?

Have you found it fairly easy to delay your start time by an hour or so?
