Fun gus I too had the most horrific se's after taking 50 mg. Read my post here on Mg & SE's: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=3930

The SE's did go away for me and pretty much everyone else I have heard of having them in days, weeks.
IMHO I would not play around with the science as they say 50 mg 1 hour before drinking because I want to get out of this nightmarish hell of drinking so much. I also want TSM to work sooner than later so I upped my dose which you can read my progression here: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3915

It all depends on how much you want this and as I said don't mess with the science. If you need more information on this read "The Cure for Alcoholism" and read, read posts here that are so helpful and inspiring.
