Little miss new and confused here!
Now 12 hours in and going well took with evening meal drank 4 glasses of beer spaced but more restless so what now do I take them everyday or only for next 7 days then only on days when I drink for TSM?
the pack instructions just say take one tablet before alcohol but folks on forum using Naltrexone so guessing different rules apply. Help!!

You should take your NAL one hour before you drink. If you are not going to drink, taking a NAL will have no benefit. If you cannot be sure you won't drink, -then take a NAL just in case. The most important rule is never drink without first taking a NAL.

Welcome Tamarama!! As far as I know Selincro is the same as nal in terms of the Golden Rule: always take 50 mg (if you are up to that level, some have to get there gradually because of side effects) and wait one hour before drinking. If you don't drink, you don't have to take it. At first most of us take it every day because we are not sure we will be able to not drink.

Thanks Clarion and Newlife ok so im on 18mg tablet one a day of Selincro.
followed golden rule 1 tab with food 1 hour before alcohol so now on second glass of wine and feel could easily have several more .... what am I doing wrong?... im hoping I just think i do. .. out of habit.. as really really want these to work although the wine doesnt taste as good as normal sure at this stage im sure I could be drinking hairspray and wouldnt notice!! LOL! !

Sorry forgot to mention iam now on Day 2 so tablet 2 no SE at all hence prob why 2 glasses of white wine went down too well. Hmmm maybe its not working ... ok well im very snappy to my other half so thats a SE but maybe im beginning to wonder if im on wrong dosage or is this norm just takes time for your system to adjust to meds . Although iam delighted I stuck with just 2 glasses of wine normally that could have been 2 bottles so result indeed!

Tamarama: for most of us this takes some time to work: month and in some cases even years. There are a few "fast responders" but I do not think that most people are fast responders. So you have to prepare that this may take some time, more than you want it to take of course, but what is the alternative?

It's good that you had no SEs, I have read from some others about terrible SEs from Selincro.
