Post subject:  naltrexone online?

I want to start the sinclair method but when i found the doctor in my area who was familiar and willing to prescribe naltrexone they said the program would cost $2500. Is there a safe online website where I could order naltrexone online? I have been drinking since I was 14 and I have tried numerous times to quit I finally feel like this could possible work. Please any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks! :)

Welcome! There's no reason TSM should cost $2,000 other then supportive services, but even then it's a bit much. All Day Chemist and River Pharmacy are two trusted online sources for Naltrexone.

This forum no longer garners the traffic it once did (and is prone to going down) so be aware of this community as well:

Yeah, Rmuller... I'd suggest bypassing that doc and maybe do some more checking around. Perhaps have a look at the Telemedicine section and the Non-Verified section just in case you can find a doc there that doesn't have a "program", because people for the most part really don't need it. The online pharmacies are listed there too.

Sometimes you can just go to a regular doc and tell them that you want Naltrexone to cut the craving while you stay abstinent, the ones that know of it are used to prescribing it like that. Lots of people have had to go that route to get the Rx, then they just use it TSM style. That's another good reason to keep a drink log, if you need a refill and they balk, you can show them your graph and how it's helped you. GoodRx.com can help you get the meds at a reasonable price via a coupon that you take to your pharmacy, or if you've got a Costco or Sam's Club you don't need a membership to use their pharmacies. Otherwise just order online, it's more expensive that way, but less BS. Just remember that there's a hang time till it gets delivered, so if you start out with 30 tabs, you'll need to re-order as soon as you determine that the side effects (if any) are tolerable. There's usually a bigger lag in the delivery time around the end of the year, so keep that in mind too.

OTOH, if you get it online you might want to keep the box that the meds come in. Then you can make an appointment and show the doc the box and tell them you'd really rather get US meds that you know you can trust, I don't think I've heard of a case where that hasn't worked yet...

Just as a comparison, my TSM doc, the meds and the blood tests cost me about $500 for the entire 6 months it took to bring me down from 80-90 drinks per week to less than a 10th of that per month.

Stick with us and let us know how you're doing, here or on OSL or Reddit (Alcoholism_Medication subreddit).

Still hungry? Water based food like fruit, leafy greens, and broth soups can help you stay fuller longer as well. They are the best food for weight loss because they high in fiber, and food near me open are water-rich helping you fill up faster the healthy way. Another trick? Drink a big glass of water before your meal. It will reduce your hunger, and your food intake.

My friend once told me about this sinclair method, but I didn't rate it too much. I wish that this method will help me https://shoppingkim.com/10-money-saving ... -students/, because that would be great for me. Do you think this method will allow me to do that?

There are still other options that you might consider such as getting help from https://fredscasino.hatenablog.com/entr ... /03/212153 . Going to a doctor always have to be the last thing.
