My Nal just arrived yesterday afternoon, so I actually had one glass before having half of the first pill. Then I had 3 drinks after I had Nal prior to 3 drinks (waited an hour) yesterday.

Something weird happened today. I had another half of pill this morning, and strangely in the afternoon, when I was 2 drinks in, my face TURNED RED. It never happened before, almost always when I have more than 10 drinks, my face was just as usual.

On the other hand, I understand my body is always very aware of new medicine, yet adopts fairly quickly and the side effects usually fade within days.

Anyone experienced this side effect? Other than that I don't feel anything.
I am considering taking the other half pill as I feel I may to make my body get used to this med asap.

I don't recall hearing of it, Tst. I hope it isn't an allergic reaction, maybe check with a pharmacist about it?

Generally, if one has side effects from the Naltreoxne they pass within a couple of weeks, often as soon as a few days.

For some reason Nal has made my body reacted hugely to alcohol, which has rarely happened before with other meds (non-treatment)
specifically it made me look like (but not feel like) I had the allergic blush when I only had one drink, so some people asked me if I had some drinks today..that just never occurred to me.

Just a data point reported for some people who just started on Nal as well.
