Hi everyone! Glad to find this site and a doctor who is prescribing me NAL. I am following TSM of dosing 25mg 1 hour before drinking and am pleased with the results thus far. I am also part of an intensive outpatient therapy group. I wonder if anyone else here uses TSM in conjunction with any type of therapy and if so what kind. Any input on this subject is GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!

I am seeing a psychiatrist for my meds and getting therapy. I find it extremely helpful. Are the other people in the group on meds? Do they know you are using TSM?

Other people in the group run the whole spectrum of addiction and medication. They know I'm on Naltrexone. They don't know I'm doing TSM. Not hiding it. I just started. What kinds of things do you work on in therapy? I find I have little or nothing to say in group most of the time.

We talk about what is going on with me. Sometimes the past. It is great to have someone who can listen to all. Someone I can be honest with. I would probably say less in a group too.
