I started TSM tonight and so far, things are going well. I'm quite hopeful. That said, there are very serious technical problems with the site, and I'm not sure who to contact.

Registration:

The CAPTCHA text is incredibly difficult to read, far worse than any I've seen in years. I attempted to register at least 15 times (and had to do so in different browsers to avoid lockout) before I was successful.

There's a security question about some character on the 'boob tube' for a show that was popular from the 60's to 80's. Native English speakers of a certain generation may know the answer to this, but what about people who aren't native English speakers, or people who weren't alive during that time? I guessed Gilligan, which seems to have worked, but it's not fair to assume that a 19 year old from Japan or Eritrea will have any idea what this question is about.

The site e-mailed me my username and password in plain text, which means that passwords are stored in plain text. E-mail is generally unencrypted, so using it to send passwords is a terrible idea (and it's completely unnecessary).

The WHOIS information for this site doesn't point to any useful contact information, so I figured I'd ask here. Who should I contact? Is there anything I can do to help? I do this for a living.

Now that I've gotten that out of the way, I'm incredibly grateful for TSM and I believe it will work for me. I appreciate everything I have read here (before I became a member and started taking Naltrexone, which I started today). I look forward to being active here.

Keep in mind though that N101CS runs this site for free and out of his/her own pocket, as a service to all of us. And this is true even though as I think I understand it he/she was able to quit alcohol without needing to use TSM. I am very grateful to him/her. Newlife

Many of us have had the same problems registering, in fact, I had to create a dummy email account after getting caught in a rejection loop with my primary email.

It takes persistence, especially that damn capcha!!!!!

N101CS rarely comes on the board and simply keeps this running out of the kindness of his heart so I don't think there's a lot anyone can do to fix it.

That said I hate to think how many people want to participate but give up over the registration issues, I know I almost did.

I got locked out two days ago because I put in the wrong password (and yes, I was sober, go figure!!) I could not read that code stuff no matter how many times I tried and had to report to the administrator. I got an e mail reply and it was fixed within a few hours, though, so someone must be minding the store. Sorry for the problems. Newlife

Like so many others, I had a very hard time with the captcha. One thing that helped was to hold my mouse over the captcha, right-click, and "open image in new tab". The new tab shows the image in different colors. It's still really hard to read, but between looking at the image in the original and in the new tab, I was finally able to piece together the letters and numbers and register.

Same for me, I have to use my older email from gmail to be able to register. That's why I ended up with Ghaunt2 where Ghaunt username are still inactive. Microsoft Account block emails from here completely.

As for the super question? I copy paste it on google search to be able to know the answer.
