I live in Northern California. How do I find a doctor who will prescribe Naltrexone and supervise my treatment?

Wes - I just went to my regular doctor and went armed with info about Nal - and he prescribed it for me. In the Eskapa book, at the back, are some chapters for professionals to read .....

Good luck, Hugs, Maggie x

Thanks Maggie,
I asked my Kaiser doctor about TSM and he was clueless and couldn't help me. He is also swamped with all the new patients they have thanks to Obamacare and isn't receptive to the idea that I might know about something that he should be aware of. He reminds me of Lucy in the Candy Factory. Anyway, I found a doctor who works in Kaisers Chemical Dependency Rehab Program. He doesn't take appointments but I may be able to eventually see him if I camp out in the waiting room every Tuesday afternoon. Thanks for your advise. I was going to wait until I have a doctor to buy the book but I think I go ahead and get it now.

Hugs back. wes

Wes - I would definitely read the book before you go to the doctor - it really explains exactly how it works and as I said there is tons of stuff for your doctor - if I hadn't been armed with so much info, my doc probably would not have given me the Nal - as it was she gave me three months worth with three refills - enough for a year!!!

good luck!

hugs, Maggie x
