Hi everyone!

I have been reading off and on for some time, and am quite interested in this method. I wanted to try Topa for a bit, well, because I had some left from another time of trying, and well, it doesn't seem to do the trick for me.

My question is, how long should I be off the Topa before I can start the Nal? I have some, and I have the book and have read it. I will have to re-read the FAQ.

But if anyone knows how long I should wait, and let me know I would really appreciate it.

Cristy, any pharmacy can tell you the half life of the Topamax and when it is out of your system. I would think a week would be safe but do check.

Based on the 21 hour half life of Topamax (thank you Google!), it takes about 4½ days for the bloodstream to get below 5%, so a week, like LaBear posted, would likely be good.
