Should I stick with 50mg of Naltrexone one hour before drinking for the first 3 months, then if no change increase? Or if little or no change in drinking after one month should I increase the dose then?

If I were you, I probably wouldn't worry about no response after three months unless I got to three months with no response. But that's just me.

FWIW, most people who've gone over the standard dose have waited longer than three months. I'm not saying this is a good idea -- I'm pretty sure we should see some results by the three-month mark -- but that is what a lot of people do.

You haven't been doing this that long. Maybe just give it a whirl and see how it goes? You might turn out to be a fast responder and not even have to think about this issue.

Couple of other options I'd look into would be to use a pill crusher to make sure they're hitting your receptors after the hour and maybe taking the pill 90 minutes before hand to be on the safe side.

I think 50 mg is enough to cover most but I do worry about it covering you after just 60 minutes sometimes. There have been times I have felt the pill still lodged in my throat after 30 even minutes.
