Hi everyone, yes I am in control at least for the past 3 weeks. It is a miracle. I was on Nal. Since March, did not realize that it is so long. Anyway 3 weeks ago I decided to brake the habit because the craving was gone but the habit was very present. So 3 weeks ago after having to much to drink on Nal.I decided to go to AA and than to go AF. So far so good. I love my hangover free mornings and productive days. I don't miss alcohol at all. I drove my daughter to town the other day and she wanted to buy some alcohol for the party she was going to and I waited in the car outside of the liquor store and there was nothing there for me. No craving, no need no nothing. I think the Nal. destroyed the craving and AA supported me in to braking the habit. Now it is going to be interesting to see how am I going to react to vodka after talking Nal. an hour before, will I be satisfied with just 2 drinks! If not I will try to stay completely abstinent. Wish me lack.

Luck!

Hey, if AA helps you, use it. Lots of people layer something else on top of TSM.

Another successful day, no drinking, no craving. Thank you everyone for the response and I also wish luck to all of you. Anyone who is consumed by this terrible progressive desise needs a brake and no one that does not suffer from alcoholism can understand our thorny journey.
Good luck again to anyone that suffers right now.

Well done erk, that's great news. I agree about breaking the habit. Once the Naltrexone has taken away the craving working on breaking the habit is key. Good for you.
