Yes, I would too, for the reason you gave as well as the apparent action of Nal on the brain. I'm not a scientist, but after having read Dr Eskapa's book, lots of stuff on this forum, et cetera, my understanding of chemical/pharmaceutical extinction is that taking Nal an hour before boozing gradually 'disintegrates' that neural pathway in the brain that was built up by repetitive intake of alcohol. Booze affects the opiate (opioid?) receptors in the brain, but I wonder if the phychological and chemical link we have wouldn't also be lit up (so to speak, pun partially intended

) by a NA beer and trigger those receptors. Does that make any sense? An NA beer creates no alcohol high, but maybe subconsciously it's just near enough to strengthen that old pathway.
