I thought someone here had medical problems and went off of the Naltrexone in order to have surgery or something. Think if you can stop the Naltrexone, get it out of your system, you can take pain meds. I would call a pharmacy and why not call an ER annomymously?
LaBear - your idea to call a pharmacy is an excellent one. We have several pharmacists in the family, and I have a good friend who is one. Without exception, they are caring, compassionate people who will gladly offer their expertise - and they understand that not all doctors are totally understanding of a patient's concerns, or willing to go the extra mile to help. In fact, many doctors knowledge of pharmaceuticals is limited to what the pharmaceutical reps tell them, whereas a pharmacist has a much deeper comprehension of these matters.
