I have a notoriously bed memory, so I thought I share some hints I use. I have one of those little pill-holders that I keep on my keychain, and I try to keep a few Naltrexone in there at all times. I'm on a few meds, so I keep the bottles in my briefcase; that way I have them whether I'm at home or at work. If I need to take them either place, there they are. (I learned this from forgetting to take my morning meds one too many times - now I'm in the habit of taking them every day when I get to work). My pharmacy is also near my work, so if I'm low on something I call it in when I take my morning meds and pick it up on my lunch-break. I never run out of anything anymore.
Also, I set my iPhone alarm to go off every day for my Naltrexone. (I use that phone alarm for just about everything, really). Anyway, it goes off every day, so whether or not I'm taking the Naltrexone (whether or not I'm drinking that night), I'll remember to take it around the right time. Works for me.
I also travel a lot for work. It seems I would know the few things I need to bring each time, but that's not the case. I keep a short list on the Notepad on my iPhone and I check it while I'm packing (Meds, phone charger, toiletry bag, etc).
I know this sounds like simple stuff, but it really took me forever to figure out how to be even this minimally organized. I hope this helps someone
