Hi all you determined people out there:

Im in week 15 and I see slight changes i.e. more clarity, less memory loss and a very slight reduction in the way of less drinking (one botttle instead of one bottle and one or two more glasses of wine). Can anyone describe what its like when you start to "turn the corner" in the path to freedom from alchohol. I'm just curious if the slight changes I see are of any significance.

Thanks for your input. :?:

I am in week 27 and I have definitely turned a couple corners:

1) I no longer crave white wine and when I began TSM I was polishing off an entire 1.5 litre bottle of pinot grigio. I no longer drink wine... at all, and have not for several weeks.

2) I am buying less booze so I am limiting my intake. Because I consciously place boundries on how much I allow myself to consume when I choose to drink.

3) I am having many more AF days! Thank Goodness!!!!!!!!! ;)

4) I no longer drink in the morning.

5) Beer can be in my refrigerator and I can still experience an AF day. I remember drinking everything in my house until it was absolutely gone!

6) Finally, I know I have turned a corner in this treatment because my brain is not craving alcohol at all times and I am no longer preoccupied by thoughts of drinking as I used to be.

Hoping that you will turn many corners on your path,

Ketchikan1

Thank you for responding! Wow, it seems like you "were" much further along than me as far as volume. I'm wondering if that means I'll "turn the corner" sooner, who know's. But anyway it seems you really have regained some if not all of your control. Congratulations to you. I know it's a long journey that takes a great toll on your body. But in the end, I have faith that it will be worth it. FINALLY FREE!!! Best wishes, wine girl....

Winegirl, all the changes you noticed are really good signs that TSM is working for you. 15 weeks is still areally short time for the program to work, so hang in there!
