How long should one not drive after taking NAl ? And obviously I mean after the blood alcohol has vanished .
It's not generally a question I've to face as drinking starts in the evening and i stay in . However lunchtime drinking occurs on free days and today , a sunday .
I'm done with my lunchtime drinks and will take a siesta and tea at five . Then I've to take the car to drop of family early evening . Is this acceptable ? Any thoughts ?

Generally speaking, it is safe to drive while on Naltrexone, provided you haven't been drinking or you've metabolized the alcohol. Of course, if Naltrexone affects you differently than it does most people, you should use caution. But Naltrexone by itself doesn't make you loopy.

If you are ever stopped, I wouldn't mention Naltrexone to the officer at all. Given its use as a drug for opioid addiction and alcoholism, mentioning it could invite unwanted scrutiny.

Um, isn't that a bit tough if you have that information pasted on the back of your driver's license as a safety measure ???

I didn't paste the card on my license, but put it in the slot where I carry it so it will be evident to anyone removing my license who might need the info. (An emergency person, for example.)
