NAL SHIPPING and customs (and patience)

I tracked my nal shipment from allday and it said the NAL arrived in New York yesterday afternoon and is in customs. how long does the customs process take? I'm in TN. How long should I expect it to take?

I'm so ready to start TSM! I know I should be patient as it's a slow process. but damn, Going in and out of A.A. has me worn out and drinking does too so I really need this to work and hope I can wait for the NAL to do its thing before I do anything stupid or tragic. anybody else have these feelings at the beginning?

joe12pack, yes I did have those feelings before I got started with TSM. I guess we were all anxious to start living again seeing that AL just sucks all the life out of you. Hang in there, it will come soon and patience is the word for the journey you'll soon be on.

Hang in there Joe, this method works for the vast majority who try it. The time frames are a bit longer than the 3-4 months advertised in the book, but it does work well for most of us.

Hi joe - wanted to throw my hat onto the welcome wagon. I know you are anxious - I was too when I read the book. Didn't want to waste a single second drinking w/o the extinction process going on. It will be there soon enough & I wish you the very best! Let us know how it goes -

Hi there - it took my Nal 10 days to clear customs in NY and get delivered. It arrived in customs on 4th March and was delivered to my hotel in NJ on 14th!!!!

Like everyone else, I want to get started on Nal ASAP - although I will say I actually had the proverbial "glass of wine with dinner" last night - how did that ever happen? I guess having been completely willing to abstain totally, then finding out about the Sinclair method, has made me calmer about alcohol - in certain controlled situations. Then again the day before, I had like 10 drinks, so... yeah.

Anyway. I wonder what the heck they are doing in customs. Having dogs sniff it? :lol:
