Dr Eskapa, I am now coming up on 12 months on Naltrexone with TSM, but still have strong cravings daily. I went from 10-12 drinks/day to 5-6 in about the first two months, but I have remained at that level ever since. I have a traditional method counsellor who was/is skeptical of TSM but has agreed to prescribe for me up to this point, but I don't know how much longer she will do so. I am 72 and have been drinking since my teens, but my excessive drinking has become daily mostly in the last decade. I am high-functioning and otherwise in good health. Before learning of TSM, I quit drinking cold-turkey on my own for about two years, 6-8 years back. My original goal was to use TSM to become a "normal" 2 drink/day person. Perhaps that is not possible due to my many years of drinking. I can only imagine how busy you must be, and would greatly appreciate any thoughts or view of my case. -- Skip
