I have just checked out All Day Chemist. Is Naltima 50mg the correct name/does for Naltexone? Was thinking of ordering 100 and having them dlivered to a hotel where I will be staying in USA as I dont think they deliver to Ireland any more.

Naltima is just another name for the generic form of Naltrexone. All Day Chemist do deliver to Ireland - and probably with less hassle than delivering to america. Would you really like to explain to US officials what a tourist is doing receiving illegal drugs on holidays? A lot easier (if it ever came to it) to explain it when at home.

God, you have frightened me now. I ordered and paid for the Naltima to-day - and have them sent to my hotel in USA. I really thought they did not deliver to Ireland. It isnt even listed in their list of countries. I had thought I could just dispense the tabs into a box of headache pills and bring them in my check in luggage. Am I missing out on something here - is Naltima illegal????

As far as I know (but I'm open to correction) it is illegal in both Ireland and America to import pharmaceuticals without a license. There may be some leeway with regard to you having an 'online consultation' with a doctor (I know offshoreRX do this, and include a prescription from an MD in the package), so it is probably a pretty minor indiscretion. Having them delivered to an address other than your home though raises other issues potentially - i.e. if any issue ever arose I'm sure they'd ask you why you had it delivered to an address other than your home if they are for personal use.

I am a bit curious 1-4-the-road about this reply above.When would I meet this US official - if I pack the tabs in my hotel room - check them in and then collect them when I return to Ireland. These tabs are not illegal or restricted in any way. I realise I may need to pay duty on them at the Irish side - but that is a different matter entirely. When I read your posting I had visions of being hauled in for drug smuggling!!!

For information for anybody in Ireland who would normally buy from Alldaychemist - I just received confirmation from them that they no longer deliver to Ireland - but they will deliver to an address in UK.
