If you increase the dose, you could start getting side effects again. They typically go away or at least get better after a few days or so.

Did you get a new supply of Naltrexone?

I found one more pack of Naltrexone at home and I got the prescription for 3 packs too. I truly hope I can get back to drinking moderately. I need to be more careful when drinking. Not just take a pill and carry on, I have to have some boundaries.

Do you drink consciously too? Or just take a pill and go on?

It's gotten to the point where I simply lose interest after 1 - 3 drinks and has been that way for over 2 years. I still take the medication when I drink, but I may not drink for a month or month and a half. I may think about having a drink, but then the thought just evaporates.

That's great. And that is my goal to be able to drink but not having to. Yesterday I drank 4 beers and started 5th but I poured it out without finishing it. Maybe it's still a lot of beers but I am so happy do decrease the amount in half or more.

Yesssss! That's great, Lilavi! Keep on looking for that lack of interest, that indifference during the drinking session and if you don't truly crave the next drink, let it stay in the bottle.

Yes, that is really a good thing to be able to control myself again. I was so worried TSM is not working for me anymore. It seems like it is though. I hope I will be able to limit my drinking to like once a month or so.

Sounds like a good goal to me. Keep on working towards a "One and done" drinking session when you feel the craving. Let us know how you're doing.

Yesterday I drank 8 beers, too many again but I was more conscious while drinking so that's a good thing I guess. Next time I will try to lower the amount to 2 beers. I want to drink just a bit because as you said, one drink or one beer is enough for TSM to work. Is that normal that I drank more again? I really don't want to do this again.
