I just ordered from Amazon. I heard you have to take a few pills so it can be quite expensive but I will try it.
Cost me $48.00 for 30 capsules. I should have ordered it from Amazon Canada site but in error ordered from the US site which cost me more. If it works I will order from amazon.ca next time.

I actually have been taking Gabapentin for hot flashes and to sleep a bit better through the night too.

Hi,Cheeto. Have you ever attempted taking Gaba an hour before drinking like NAL? Just curious. The Scripps Institute test I read about took 600mg 3 times a day with good results in abstaining. At 900mg a day, results were essentially half as good. I have not read about anyone using it as a temporary blocker as in TSM NAL use.

Okay - just ordered the DHM from Amazon ......actually I have just CX that and ordered the Thrive+ - the DHM is 30 caps of 300mg and the Thrive+ is 30 caps of 900mg DHM.....and other goodies !!

If DHM attacks the GABA receptors, would BACLOFEN not do the same?

It might do Summerglow - but Bac scares me silly and it is the one thing I will not touch ..... I know people who have been on it and not done well with it - it gave one terrible anger issues and that person was usually so mild mannered ! However, I also know of a couple who have done well on it - but as I said it is one thing I will never touch ..... UKB used it along with Nal to help her stop.

I also tried Baclofen and couldn't stand the side effects as I had double vision,however, that was at a higher dosage. I have some leftover so I might do a little experiment, and take 10 mg's a day, and see what happens, if anything. If it works, I'll put it to my prescribing doctor, who is very open to anything that will help people to cut back/stop.

Watch this space!! He wasn't too keen on mixing antabuse with NAL though!! But it all fairness he really didn't bat an eyelid when I mentioned it! I must say he is a godsend to me.......

My body does not like Antabuse - and you have probably seen me say how small I split my pills into - 1/16 or thereabouts and I can still feel it is in me ! But I never ever drink when I have taken even that little bit ...... my doc has been pretty good but he left, it is impossible to get in now and I have not even met my new one ......
