Tomorrow is Saturday. I usually start around 9 am. 6 beers while I watch the news, might do some cooking. I always love Saturday mornings. The afternoon usually consists of a nap and then I start again late afternoon. I'll take a NAL tomorrow morning when I wake up, around 8am.. Start at 9am like normal, but I'm hoping there won't be an afternoon secession this time. Fingers crossed.

Sounds like a good plan, Raisin. I was taking Gabapentin too, but just 300-600 around bedtime. The TSM doc that I worked with said it helps Nal do it's job and also helps you get down into slow wave sleep. I was on that for a week before I got ok'd for the Nal.

If you're close to the border, check with a pharmacy in Washington to see if they'll honor your prescription. If you use one of the larger chains, go to GoodRx.com and use their coupon to get the Nal for $40 or less.

In any case, let us know how Saturday goes for you!

Thank you for that tip! I will definitely look into the Washington State pharmacies. The prescription here is about $200.00 a month. But that is based on the assumption that one would take a pill a day.

10:56 Saturday morning. Decided not to go the liquor store this morning. I was feeling a little ill when I first woke up ( I did end up drinking all 6 beers and the can of wine last night), but that went away within half an hour. Besides that though, I just wan't feeling in the mood to drink. I made breakfast and now I'm going to head out to Ikea with a friend. I'll bring a NAL because I'll likely have a couple drinks over lunch.

Day 6, so far liking the results.

:)

$200/ month for Naltrexone??? Way too much. I get mine from River Pharmacy online and it's about $1.25 per pill depending on your quantity. That would be more like $40/month if using every day.

I went to River Pharmacy online and it says that Naltrexone is not available in Canada through their website.

Rasin, I live in Vancouver too. I've opened a mailbox forward in Seattle. This service is basically free- maybe a $1 per delivery. Anyway, I buy it online and ship it to Seattle, go across the boarder and pick it up. Very simple. Private message me if you want the details.

Another member reports that River will ship Naltrexone to Canada, but not other meds (oddly enough).
