Bizi,

I am glad the kudzu is helping. I tried it and didn't have any luck, but I bought a cheaper brand and didn't up the dose (or give it enough time).

Good luck,

Jaba

My kudzu recovery is 750 mg in each tablet, 2 for a serving.supposedly twice a day in between meals.
I could never mange the in between meals part so will take it with food so as to remember to take them.
they are manufactured in Cal, Planetary herbals.
I think I got them from amazon.
bizi
it was not expensive if i remember correctly.

Bizi - I tried Kudzu too, along with l-glutamine and the two of them did help to curb the drinking somewhat! I used the powdered form of L-Glut and would take a teaspoon (I think) in a small amount of water at least an hour before drinking (LOL - sound familiar?). The powdered form is much more efficient at being utilised by ones body for this purpose than taking the capsules.

Glad that the Kudzu is helping - we need everything we can that helps!

hugs, Maggie

slept well last night.
We went to a percussion concert last night, they were great!
A lot of it was marimbas. think zylophones.
We went with my girl friend Nicole.
Afterward we went to the tap room for a beer.
I ended up drinking a strong stout, delicious.
Stopped at one because 1 equals 2.25 beers.
Drank 2 large glasses of water there and ate a cup of bar snacks....
So that was moderate drinking.
The sun is out...it rained most of the day yesterday.
Poor northern louisiana...I don't know the weather forecast for today.
For their sake I hope the rains have stopped.

Good job, bizi!

Yes, let's keep our fingers crossed for those folks. There's been a lot of damage done in the state so far, I hope they can get can get their lives stitched back together soon.

Bizi

You appear to be early into this but it is good to start developing other things to do with the spare time that you will free up from not drinking. A lot of people find it easy to keep socializing with same people after and during the TSM but I am struggling when it comes to my hard core drinking friends. So I try to limit my exposure to a once week or maybe weekend run with the drinkers. During the week those cravings have pretty much gone away and I do not miss that beer or rum everyday - but it does take some time.

Best of luck
