Just saying. Steve.

I have been on TSM for over 8 months and would like to know what DHM is?

I do not pretend to be an expert in any way. Google GABA. Google DHM. Google GABA+DHM. Google LDN. Google alcoholism. There is a huge world of knowledge out there and it is not secret. It's yours'. Again, TSM may just be the tiny tip of the iceberg when it comes to modifying addictive behaviors.

Or perhaps, taking ownership of the problem, and making meaningful behavioral changes such as actually drinking less, and modifying your lifestyle so that becomes your reality, as opposed to layering on more and more chemicals of dubious benefit.

Guapo, that attitude and NAL worked for me. However it is apparent to me that some could certainly use more help. And it MAY be out there for them.

OK, never mind.

I've mentioned this a few times here before, I guess whatever works for people.

I just ordered Thrive+ Hangover Cure (Contains 900mg of DHM, B-Vitamins, Prickly Pear, Milk-Thistle, and More). So hopefully this will help with my Nalovers when I drink ONLY as I know I need more AF days.
Nal On!

I'm eager to see if it's helpful. I also just read that Gabapentin is helpful in alcoholism and for regulating GABA receptors. Oddly, I have two bottles of it that I didn't take when I decided to go on NAL. Could have been very effective together. The NAL was enough for me, however.

Atta girl. I think eventually we will find that different pharmacological combinations will suit different people. Physicians and psychologists are just getting into this end of treatment.
Please don't beat your self up, Maggie. Your will to fight is obvious and amazing. I would wish that everyone could end their addiction as easily and painlessly as I did. When I read of your trials and suffering, I almost feel guilty...like I cheated. I truly wish it to be easier for you.
THM, by the way, was just recently isolated as the active ingredient in an herb that had been used for hundreds of years in China as a hangover remedy. Purportedly blocks GABA receptors much the same way NAL blocks opoid receptors.
Hugs to YOU.
Steve.
