I just started a few days ago and the Nal has really made a big difference for me so far. Everyone has different reactions and "cure" times but, as far as I'm concerned, anything that keeps me moving in the direction of less and less drinking is working for me no matter how long it takes!

Ruthy, you definitely sound a lot like me... this is so encouraging to know you're already seeing big changes after only a few weeks! And Rich, it's incredible that you're noticing big differences in your very first week! May I be so lucky....

It's funny, when I told my hubby what the common side effects were for Nal (nausea, headaches, etc.), he said, "That sounds just like the side effects of drinking!" Maybe there's something to that. But if that's all they are (compared to Baclofen), I can take it very slow and easy, and just deal with whatever happens. It's also encouraging that the SE's seem to go away after a week or less, so I've read.

I have no idea when the Nal will get here. It was shipped on 4/27, and apparently it's in Customs now in my own state (scary!). Can't wait to get started!
