Are there any sleeping pills that are ok to take with naltrexone? Just wondering, since I would like my BF (and me) to get a good night's sleep for once, but on the other hand I don't want to kill him!

I don't know if it's okay but I regularly take 50 mgs of doxylamine succinate (active ingredient in unisom) to knock me out and keep me from drinking more. I've been doing it for years. It doesn't work great but it helps.

I know it's not a sleeping pill, but just wanted to say. that I supplement with vitamin B complex (strong) partly because I understand that alcohol destroys a lot of important vitamins and minerals - and especially the B vitamins - and I smoke which does too. The Bs are very much worthwhile looking into for sleep-related stuff in my opinion.

I've found the supplement Melatonin to be helpful - I take 3mg, but my husband says that dose gives him weird dreams. It comes in smaller amounts.
