50 is usually enough to do the trick. I can't see where it would hurt to try some A/B tests though.
Even though you may feel a rush, the main job of Naltrexone is to stop the addicted part of your brain from remembering that alcohol = pleasure. You may still feel pleasure though. I didn't really notice any difference in how drinking beer felt, but TSM worked for me anyway.
WRT the quantity per session, there is indeed the habit aspect. Try to slow down your drinking, but go for a slow, even taper if you can. Sip, don't gulp. Put the beer back in the fridge and knock out a quick 10 minute task. Go back and have another sip, put the beer down and check something out on the web. Keep going like that and see how you get along with it. Listen for your brain to tell you when you're done drinking for the night and act on that by leaving the beer in the fridge or pouring the rest of that can out. I understand that listening for that point of indifference can be harder for bingers, but don't stop looking for it.
