Moderation is a good accoutrement for TSM.

Did you write it? Are you Andre Wasp? If not...Not to be a bitch, but violating copyright laws can get a forum shut down & mired in legalities. First of all, one is to never change an author's words. The words are to be in quotes, (usually no more than 2 paragraphs) such as

Quote:
Like golf, moderated drinking is not for everyone. Some will find the counting intolerable, and the constant attention it requires can become emotionally draining to the best of us. Many prefer pure abstinence for its grace and simplicity. But for those who’ve struggled with bad habits, wrestling them back under control is about so much more than “getting to drink.” It’s an exercise in self-control, an affirmation of our sovereignty over ourselves, and it can exert a profoundly positive influence on seemingly unrelated areas of our lives. And just like golf, we eventually discover that our reduced numbers actually bring us more pleasure and satisfaction than our previous consumption patterns ever did. For those willing to accept the task, the count becomes a record of achievement, marking the path away from the mechanical habits of the past and towards a mindful, responsible, and healthier future.

André Wasp is a writer living in Oakland, CA

And the writers name attached if it is the end of the quote.

Plus a link underneath from where the quote originated.

This may not win me any friends but I am thinking of the forum. I believe this forum will eventually be 'the one' that folks will turn to the more TSM gains notoriety. I'm just protecting it.

I simply realised that I no longer enjoyed alcohol.

Guapo, thank you for sharing those thoughts. Unfortunately, Mason is quite right on the sticky laws concerning copyright and the correct ways to convey printed thoughts of another author. Best to delete or do the exact quote with references thing.
Peace Brother.
Steve.

I just saved it because it was a good quote, and I found it very helpful.

I was just sharing, I have no idea who wrote it.

It is now deleted.

I agree and had not seen that article before. Glad to meet you, by the way. I'm new to all this and doing well. Just started joining discussions and proud to be amongst all of you.
Steve.
