I'm wondering if TSM would work for someone like me who only binge drinks maybe 4-5 times a year. That might sound like nothing but let me explain.

I was a far more frequent binge drinker about 5 or 6 years ago meaning I was binge drinking either weekly or biweekly. I was like that for about 18 years.

I'd drink probably between 13-17 drinks each time. Now I drink much less often but the same amount each time. I can't seem to stop once I start.

So I'm glad I drink far less often but I'm frustrated and scared at how I still can't stop once I start. It only takes one time to die. And since I'm getting older I'm concerned my body will just give up at some point during a bender.

Is there any evidence something like this would work for me?

hi NW,

welcome to the forum & to TSM :)

I don't know of any reason why it wouldn't work for you, although it may take a while given the infrequency of your drinking. binge drinkers do sometimes seem to get faster results than daily drinkers as there's less of the habit side of things to break

I would say it's definitely worth giving it a try, you've nothing to lose except the cost of a few pills

let us know how you get on :)
