Heh, they can be pretty hard on people who aren't all terrified and "one day at a time."

A quick thinker could have a lot of fun quoting contradictory dogma. If done in dead earnest, without a hint of irony, it could go on for hours.

I decided not to go to aa. I am glad AA isn't the only way ( as all AA members would have you believe). Sinclair method is working for me. Pre TSM I would try to set limits by minimizing how. Much alcohol I purchased. But that didn't work because I would drink and drive to get more. Now that I take naltrexone I minimize the amount I buy and I may not even finish that amount and never crave alcohol so bad I risk driving. tsm is working great

Never been to an AA meeting so I have no comment on that.

However I have been to a couple of Moderation Management meetings now, and they seem to be compatible. MM isn't designed for the hardcore alcoholic. but there are useful MM principles and support that can be useful in conjunction with compliant TSM.
