 Post subject: Naltrexone and carbonated beverages

Can anyone tell me if carbonated water or carbonated beverages increase the side effects of Naltrexone? Thank you

Well, its pretty safe to say that nobody has published a scientific paper on that particular concern.
However there is nothing in the Naltrexone chemical makeup that would react with the very weak carbonic acid solution caused by carbonating a beverage.

Carbonated beverages tend to increase the absorption rate of meds taken with it. That could increase the withdrawal symptoms from any natural opoids you body produces.
